Best barbershop software? What to check, and how Gloora answers
Start from how your shop works: regulars who book, clients who walk in, barbers on commission, clients who message instead of calling. Gloora covers each: online booking, a walk-in queue with a wait estimate, commission and tips per barber, one WhatsApp inbox.
What a barbershop needs its software to handle
Two names, one chair, one six o’clock
A walk-in seated in the chair a regular booked, and nobody sees it until both are standing at the door.
The phone rings mid-fade
Clippers running, hands full. The call rings out, the client walks into the shop down the road, and you never learn there was a call.
Paying barbers right
Commission per cut, tips in cash and on card, and a barber who wants to see what they earned this week.
How Gloora runs a barbershop, step by step
Let regulars book online
Regulars book themselves day and night on your booking page, and a repeat booking places a client every 1, 2, 3 or 4 weeks. Ready-made links for Instagram, Facebook, Messenger and Google are tagged by source.

Run walk-ins on a queue
Walk-ins wait on a list with an estimated wait and how many are ahead, can check themselves in by QR code, and go to the barber your turn method picks; a barber whose next booking would clash is not offered the walk-in.

Answer messages in one inbox
WhatsApp, Instagram and Messenger chats share one Inbox; the AI Concierge (a Premium add-on) can answer and book from your live menu.

Take payment and split the tip
Collect payment takes cash, card and gift cards and splits one tip across the barbers on a visit.

- · Priced per branch, not per team member; the volume discount per location grows with the branch count.
- · Seven published markets: UAE (AED), Saudi Arabia (SAR), Qatar (QAR), Oman (OMR), Europe (EUR), Egypt (EGP) and Global (USD). Every EU country, Ireland included, pays the Europe list; any other country — the UK, Australia, Canada or South Africa, for example — pays the Global list in USD.
- · 0% commission on every booking, sale and payment.
- · VAT, or the local equivalent, is added at invoicing.
- · Messages are not in the subscription: they are paid per send from a prepaid messaging wallet.

Limits and honest trade-offs
- The walk-in queue starts off and is switched on per branch by an owner or manager.
- The “your turn is near” text is SMS, US-only, for clients who ticked the SMS box; elsewhere clients get WhatsApp and email.
- Card readers are switched on per workspace by Gloora; Clover and Run Payments readers are for US branches.
- Gloora runs no consumer marketplace that lists your shop; clients find you through your own link and channels.
Questions buyers ask
What is the best barbershop software?
The one that fits how your shop works. Check online booking, a walk-in queue, commission and tips per barber, messaging, and the price per location. This page shows how Gloora handles each.
Can barbershop software handle walk-ins and bookings together?
Gloora does: walk-ins wait on a list with an estimated wait, booked clients running late show on Floor now, and a barber with a booking coming up is not offered a walk-in.
Can clients join the queue themselves?
Yes, where the branch allows it: by scanning the QR code at the door or tapping a tablet.
Can barbers see their own earnings?
Yes. My day shows each person’s bookings, earnings and payslips on their own phone.
What does Gloora cost a barbershop?
Per location per month: Basic USD 79, Premium USD 129, Own Brand USD 239 on the Global list; EUR 79, EUR 129 and EUR 239 in Europe; AED 299, AED 499 and AED 899 in the UAE.
Does Gloora take a commission on bookings?
No. 0% on every booking, sale and payment.
