Zero-commission salon booking software: what you pay instead

Gloora takes 0% commission on every booking, sale and payment, new clients included. A salon pays a flat subscription per branch and its own messaging wallet. This page sets out what that covers, and what it does not.

Why salons look for zero commission

A fee that grows with your busiest weeks

When a platform charges per booking or per new client, a busy month costs more, and the budget starts with a guess about where clients will come from.

The relationship sits on a listing

When bookings arrive through a marketplace, the client saves the marketplace’s confirmation, and the next booking may start there too.

Costs that move somewhere else

Zero commission only helps if the rest is clear: card fees, message costs and add-ons should be visible before you sign up.

How zero commission works in Gloora, step by step

  1. Clients book on your own page

Bookings arrive on your salon’s booking page, under your name; with Own Brand, on your own web address. Ready-made links for Facebook, Instagram, Messenger and Google are tagged by source.

In the app: Integrations → booking links

  2. Deposits go to your own account

To hold a booking with a deposit, connect your own Stripe account (or Run Payments for a US branch). The deposit is paid to that account, and Gloora adds no commission.

In the app: Settings → Branches → Deposit & cancellation

  3. Payments at the desk carry no Gloora fee

Collect payment records cash, card, gift cards and store credit, with the tip split across the team. Gloora takes no percentage of any of it.

    In the app: Collect payment

  4. Messages are paid as you send them

Confirmations and reminders draw from a prepaid wallet: WhatsApp at the destination country’s rate plus Gloora’s markup, email at a flat rate, SMS for US numbers only at 4¢ per 160-character part. Messaging usage lists every send and what it cost.

In the app: Settings → Messaging usage

What you pay instead of commission

Every plan includes online booking and the calendar at 0% commission. The Own Brand Pack puts the booking page on your own domain and messages on your own number.

  • · Priced per branch, not per team member; the volume discount per location grows with the branch count.
  • · Seven published markets: UAE (AED), Saudi Arabia (SAR), Qatar (QAR), Oman (OMR), Europe (EUR), Egypt (EGP) and Global (USD). Every EU country, Ireland included, pays the Europe list; any other country — the UK, Australia, Canada or South Africa, for example — pays the Global list in USD.
  • · 0% commission on every booking, sale and payment.
  • · VAT, or the local equivalent, is added at invoicing.
  • · Messages are not in the subscription: they are paid per send from a prepaid messaging wallet.
  • · 7-day free trial, no card needed, everything unlocked.
  • · Prices from Gloora’s public pricing API (last changed 25 October 2026), read when this page was built on 26 October 2026.

Limits and honest trade-offs

  • No commission does not mean no costs: your card processor charges its own fees, and messages are paid from the wallet.
  • Gloora does not list your salon on a consumer marketplace, so it does not send you new clients from one.
  • With the Own Brand Pack (or the Own Brand plan, which includes it), Meta bills WhatsApp messages from your own number to your own WhatsApp Business account.
  • VAT, or the local equivalent, is added to the subscription at invoicing.

Questions buyers ask

Does Gloora take a percentage of new clients?

No. 0% on every booking, sale and payment, whether the client is new or returning and whatever channel they booked from.

What do marketplace platforms publish about their own fees?

As published on 25 October 2026: Fresha’s pricing page states a “50% one-time commission” on brand-new clients from the Fresha marketplace, with a “Minimum fee of AED 20 per client” (fresha.com/pricing). Booksy’s US pricing page states a “One-time 30% fee based on the total cost of a Boost client's first visit with you, up to a maximum of $100” when Boost is on (biz.booksy.com/pricing). Check their pages for changes.

What do I pay Gloora, then?

A subscription per branch per month: Basic AED 299, Premium AED 499 or Own Brand AED 899 in the UAE; USD 79, USD 129 or USD 239 on the Global list; EUR 79, EUR 129 or EUR 239 in Europe; EGP 1,199, EGP 1,999 or EGP 3,499 in Egypt. Plus the messages you send.

Are card fees included?

No. Gloora takes no commission on payments, and your card processor charges its own fees. Where a card reader is connected to Gloora, Card payouts shows what the processor kept.

Can clients book on my own domain?

Yes, with Own Brand: the Own Brand plan, or the Own Brand Pack on Basic or Premium (AED 450 per branch a month in the UAE).

Is there a free trial?

Yes, 7 days with no card needed. Choosing a plan during the trial keeps the original trial end date.
