A Fresha alternative: the published facts, side by side
If you are weighing a move from Fresha, the useful questions are how each one charges and what your clients see. Below, Gloora’s terms sit next to quotes from Fresha’s own pages, as published on 25 October 2026. No ranking: you compare.
What salons weigh when they compare
The cost depends on where the client came from
Fresha’s pricing page states no fee for returning clients or for direct, Facebook and Instagram bookings, and a one-time 50% commission on brand-new clients from its marketplace, with a minimum per client. Your cost there starts with how many new clients its marketplace sends you.
Whose name the client sees
Fresha’s help centre says its WhatsApp messages come from a verified Fresha business account, and that the sender name, number and branding cannot be changed. Some salons want every message to come from their own number.
Can clients reply?
Fresha’s help centre says its text and WhatsApp messages are one-way. A salon that wants clients to answer a reminder needs a two-way inbox.
Moving from Fresha to Gloora, step by step
Export from Fresha, import into Gloora
Choose Fresha as the source and drop its CSV or Excel export. Import clients first, then services, products, gift cards (with their original codes), memberships and booking history. Running a file again only fills the gaps.
In the app: Settings → Migration
Put your own link where clients book
Copy the ready-made booking links for Facebook, Instagram, Messenger and Google; each link is tagged, so you see where every online booking came from.
In the app: Integrations → booking links
Send from your own number with the Own Brand Pack (optional)
With the Own Brand Pack (included in the Own Brand plan), the booking page runs on your own domain and WhatsApp messages come from your own number, which your team keeps using on its phone at the same time.
In the app: Integrations · Own Brand
Let clients reply, and answer them
Replies to reminders land in the shared Inbox with your WhatsApp, Instagram and Messenger chats, and the AI Concierge can answer and book from your live menu.

- · Priced per branch, not per team member; the volume discount per location grows with the branch count.

- · 0% commission on every booking, sale and payment.
- · VAT, or the local equivalent, is added at invoicing.
- · Messages are not in the subscription: they are paid per send from a prepaid messaging wallet.
- · 7-day free trial, no card needed, everything unlocked.
- · Prices from Gloora’s public pricing API (last changed 25 October 2026), read when this page was built on 26 October 2026.
Limits and honest trade-offs
- Gloora runs no consumer marketplace. If Fresha’s marketplace sends you many new clients today, plan where they will find you instead: your booking link, Instagram, Google and WhatsApp.
- Fresha’s facts above are what its pages said on the date shown, read from the UAE; check fresha.com/pricing in your country before you decide.
- Your team, their schedules and their logins are set up in Gloora by hand; clients, services and history import from Fresha’s export.
- SMS is US-only; outside the US, clients get WhatsApp and email.
