Buyer’s guide · Memberships & packages
Salon membership and package software
Gloora sells repeat business three ways: memberships with a standing discount and per-service perks, session packs built as shared sessions, and packages that bundle services at one price. Every use is counted on the client’s record.
Why memberships and packs get messy
Sessions counted on paper
A punch card says three sessions are left; the diary on another day says two.
Perks that need a calculator
A member’s 10% off everything, a free blow-dry each month and a discounted product should apply themselves at checkout.
Selling the pack during the visit
A client likes the treatment and buys the course before paying; today’s visit should count as the first.
How memberships and packages work, step by step
Design the plan
Name it, choose the cycle — monthly, quarterly, annual or lifetime — and set a price in each currency you work in.
In the app: Settings → Memberships
Layer the perks
Start with one baseline percentage off every service, then set each service or product to a % off, a number of free visits per cycle, or unlimited. A per-item benefit always wins over the baseline.
In the app: Settings → Memberships
Build session packs
Shared sessions pool from 1 to 500 sessions across the services you tick. On a lifetime plan the sessions are the total; on a recurring plan they refill every cycle.
In the app: Settings → Memberships → Shared sessions
Sell it and use it
Assign a plan to a client, or sell it during a visit and apply its perks to that booking so the visit counts as the first. A membership can be paused and its end date corrected.
In the app: Catalog → Memberships · Booking
Bundle packages
Packages put several services at one bundle price in the booking wizard, with the saving shown to the client.

- · Priced per branch, not per team member; the volume discount per location grows with the branch count.
- · Seven published markets: UAE (AED), Saudi Arabia (SAR), Qatar (QAR), Oman (OMR), Europe (EUR), Egypt (EGP) and Global (USD). Every EU country, Ireland included, pays the Europe list; any other country — the UK, Australia, Canada or South Africa, for example — pays the Global list in USD.
- · 0% commission on every booking, sale and payment.
- · VAT, or the local equivalent, is added at invoicing.
- · Messages are not in the subscription: they are paid per send from a prepaid messaging wallet.
- · 7-day free trial, no card needed, everything unlocked.

Limits and honest trade-offs
- Memberships charge a card automatically only where a branch takes cards through Run Payments (US): the membership renews from the client’s saved card and a declined renewal is tried again on the next two days. Elsewhere, renewals are recorded by hand on the client’s membership card.
- Correcting a plan’s cycle does not move the end date of members already sold; change it member by member.
- A plan’s price is set per currency; a branch in another currency needs that currency’s price.
Questions buyers ask
Can memberships renew automatically?
Where a branch takes cards through Run Payments (US), yes: from the client’s saved card, retried twice if declined. Elsewhere, record each renewal on the client’s membership card when they pay.
Can one session pack cover several services?
Yes. Shared sessions let a pack such as “10 sessions, any colour” be spent on any of the services you tick, up to the total.
Can a client pause a membership?
Yes. Pause it from the client’s membership card and, if you like, pick when it resumes.
Can members get free visits every month?
Yes. Any service can carry a number of free visits per cycle, or be unlimited with no counter.
What is the difference between a package and a membership?
A package is several services sold together at one price, booked in one go. A membership is a plan with a cycle and perks — discounts, free visits, shared sessions — used across many visits.
What do membership features cost?
They are on every plan: Basic USD 79, Premium USD 129, Own Brand USD 239 per branch a month on the Global list; EUR 79, EUR 129 and EUR 239 in Europe; AED 299, AED 499 and AED 899 in the UAE.
