Salon software with an AI receptionist on WhatsApp

Gloora’s AI Concierge replies on WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook from your real services, prices and free times, books or moves the appointment itself, and hands the chat to your team the moment someone asks for a person.

Why salons look for an AI receptionist

The phone rings with both hands full

Your team is with clients and nobody can reach the phone or the chat. The client books somewhere else, and you never find out it happened.

Eleven at night, still typing

The salon closed hours ago and someone is still placing one appointment across fifteen messages, because the alternative is losing the client to whoever answered first.

An assistant that guesses is worse than none

A bot that invents a price or promises a time that is not free creates a problem at the front desk the next morning.

How the AI Concierge works, step by step

  1. Build an agent and choose what it may do

Name the agent, write its tone and house rules, and pick a model; each model shows an estimated cost per message before you choose it. Its tools — quote services and prices, check real availability, book, reschedule or cancel the client’s own booking, hand the chat to a person — switch on or off one by one.

In the app: AI Concierge → Agents

  2. Choose where it answers

Assign the agent to a WhatsApp number, an Instagram account or a Facebook page you connected under Integrations. One number or page belongs to exactly one agent, and a channel with no branch stays off, because the agent must know whose menu and hours it speaks for.

In the app: AI Concierge · Integrations

  3. Teach it your policies

Short, exact answers your team repeats every day — parking, payment methods, the late policy — go into its knowledge, for every branch or for one. When a question is not covered, it says it does not know and offers a person.

In the app: AI Concierge → Knowledge

  4. Watch it, and take over from the Inbox

Every thread the agent handles carries a badge in the shared Inbox with a Take over button; press it and the agent stops replying to that conversation at once. It never tells a client an appointment is booked unless the booking really went through.

    In the app: Inbox

  5. Read what it did

AI performance shows the bookings the agent made and their value, the replies it sent while you were closed, how fast it answered and why it handed chats to your team.

In the app: Reports → AI performance

What the AI Concierge costs

The AI Concierge is not sold on Basic. On Premium it is a paid add-on; it is included in the Own Brand plan and with the Own Brand Pack. Every reply is also metered from the prepaid messaging wallet, the same wallet your WhatsApp messages use.

  • · Priced per branch, not per team member; the volume discount per location grows with the branch count.
  • · Seven published markets: UAE (AED), Saudi Arabia (SAR), Qatar (QAR), Oman (OMR), Europe (EUR), Egypt (EGP) and Global (USD). Every EU country, Ireland included, pays the Europe list; any other country — the UK, Australia, Canada or South Africa, for example — pays the Global list in USD.

  • · VAT, or the local equivalent, is added at invoicing.
  • · Messages are not in the subscription: they are paid per send from a prepaid messaging wallet.

Limits and honest trade-offs

  • It answers only from your live data and the knowledge you write: it cannot give a discount, invent a price or promise a time that is not free.
  • Each reply costs messaging credit; when the wallet is empty, chats are handed to your team instead of answered.
  • WhatsApp lets a business write freely only within 24 hours of the client’s last message; outside that window, messages go as Meta-approved templates.
  • It works in written chats on WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook.
  • Only the owner sees it at first; other roles need the AI Concierge permission.

Questions buyers ask

Which channels does the AI receptionist answer on?

WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook: the channels you connect under Integrations. Each number or page is assigned to one agent and one branch.

Can it book, move and cancel appointments?

Yes, when you switch those tools on: it checks real availability, creates the booking, and reschedules or cancels the client’s own booking. A tool you switch off is simply unavailable to it.

What does an AI receptionist cost with Gloora?

On Premium, USD 20 per branch a month on the Global list (Premium itself is USD 129), EUR 20 in Europe, AED 70 in the UAE and SAR 70 in Saudi Arabia. It is included in Own Brand (USD 239 on the Global list). Every reply also draws from the messaging wallet.

Does it reply in Arabic?

It replies in your client’s language. Automatic reminders and receipts can also go in each client’s own language, set per branch.

Can my team take a chat back?

Yes. Take over in the Inbox stops the agent on that conversation at once, and Hand back returns it. It also hands over by itself when a client asks for a person or when it is not confident.

Can it make up prices or free times?

No. Prices, durations, team and free times are read from your live catalog and calendar at the moment of the reply. Anything else is limited to the persona you wrote and your knowledge entries.

Do we need our own WhatsApp number for it?

It answers on the WhatsApp number, Instagram account and Facebook page you connect. It does not depend on the Own Brand Pack, though it comes free with it.
